Hi, we have been to Jamaica in June, and its fantastic it reached around 33 degrees. A little rain now and again, but as soon as it comes it's gone. We are going back in September this year, just for a little change!

I'm going to Ocho Rio's this Saturday for New Years. I'm concerned about the rain as the forecast shows rain every day for the next 7 days. I thought the rainy season was over. I did go to Negril in February 05 and the weather was PERFECT!

Amazing Paradise

I went for spring break a few years. I have never in my life been in such aww over a place, I'm a frequent to Mexico but Jamaica=amazing. If you decide to go take my advice and bring your own ketchup-->haha! and stay at a resort better than a 4 star, we stayed at FDR Pebbles (last minute vacation) and the food was horrible, but sandals the food is amazing!!! All in all the most incredible place to stay,. watch out for the tiny jelly fish when snorkeling I got stung by over 100, didn't hurt to bad tho

Love being in Negril, Jamaica has everything that I can expect out of a vacation. Have been to many places and Negril, Jamaica is my favorite place to be. Have made many friends at the resort. Water is always beautiful and I have floated on a raft during a passing afternoon storm and still admired the scenery.
I will always want to vacation there!

I've been to Jamaica twice, once in March to Ocho Rios, which is on the northern coast, and once in November to Negril, on the western coast. For all those who are asking about weather, I may not be an expert, but both times I have been, early spring and late fall, the weather was gorgeous, in the upper 80's, with very little rain. I'm guessing because of the tropical climate that just about any time of year is good to visit Jamaica. In fact, I'm going back again to Ocho Rios this November for my honeymoon! Maybe I'll see some of you there! Amy

In November to March the weather is good. It is quite cool around that time. The water here is always warm so you don't have to worry! Good to know that you have chosen to vacation in Jamaica-You will love it!!!

I have in-laws who live in Jamaica and the hurricanes come very rarely. They can be frightening. The last hurricane in Jamaica was horrible but my in-laws said they were fine and no damage.

Go on your honeymoon in July u will be fine. Its a lovely country and it is paradise.

Hi - We are looking to go to Jamaica for our honeymoon from 9th-23rd July this year. Although the travel agent has assured us the weather will be OK we are a little nervous to go ahead with the booking as all the websites we have researched say that the hurricane season starts in June.

We can cope with a few rain showers on our honeymoon but the last thing we want is a hurricane!

We'd appreciate any comments/feedback on what the climate is "really" like this time of year!

Never been to Jamaica for New Years but have had fun anytime I have gone. Did go during Spring Break one time. Will avoid that time again... too many young kids hanging out. Jamaica is a great place to hang out if you aren't afraid to leave the resort and get to know people. Some individuals are really aggressive but they respect you telling them no firmly (then just keep walking). I have made many friends, for life, in my travels to Jamaica.
