 Good Price, Good Place

Don't expect too much and you will not be disappointed. Very nice, clean, accomodations await you. The view from the bluff is spectacular and you get free passes to Doctor's Cave Beach--which is a must-see. If you get a room on the road side it can be a bit noisy.
Restuarant and pool are nice. Staff is very nice--they wouldn't take the tips we were leaving until we told them they could.
Having a kitchen is great--Ice is a premium in Jamaica and the fridge keeps your Red Stripe cold.
It's not a resort as much as it's an apartment, but we're going back again!!

Nice accomodations, but don't try to bring local guests into your room. They will treat you like they are paying you to stay there. I bought a guest to visit with me and they wanted ID, birth certificate, etc., I think it was uncalled for, if I want them to visit me, then what is the problem. They need some teaching in customer service. THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT
El Greco, nice.. sort of

I was there about a month ago for a week and it was really nice. I was surprised by the apartment style room we had. But the bad stuff happened towards the end of the week. First of all, I had my cell phone and cd player stolen from my room. My cell phone was in a drawer underneath some clothes and my cd player was in my suit case underneath a pile of dirty clothes. The worst thing was that the hotel staff was very ambivalent about it and did not seem to care that my stuff had gotten stolen. That was not even the end of it.
The head of security arrived and thoroughly questioned us about everything, it seemed more like an interrogation! He definitely did not seem to believe us either. He thought that we were making this up so we could scam money off of our traveler's insurance, and this was definitely emphasized in the hotel report he wrote for me! It was very surprising that an establishment with such a reputation as El Greco would be so rude and unhelpful to a customer. All in all, I am NOT coming back!

I really like this place. It was clean, nice service. Big and spacious villa style accommadations. Very relaxing.
