Quiet relaxation at its absolute best!

If you are looking to relax, find some peace and quiet, get to know some locals, and aren't looking for room service, this is THE place! It is not where you will find lots of night clubs, spring break action and 5-star amenities. As someone who usually cherishes luxury hotel comforts, this was a welcome change with no let downs. It has all the conveniences and boy what a location! The design is fabulous. Rooms are clean, beautiful and the deck in our cottage put us right over the waves. Food was excellent too with a "oh so relaxed" beachside cafe. Try the rum punch and get to know the friendly staff and local who hang at Jake's. We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends! Great value for money.

My sister & I had the sheer pleasure of staying at Jake's in Treasure Beach, Jamaica. Look, if you want discos, Spring Break antics or days full of sight seeing and shoping, stay someplace else! In Treasure Beach you'll get just the opposite. Quiet days, long walks, and a whole heap of Red Stripe! The owner was absolutely nice, he took time to really get to know us as did the staff and chef. This property is pretty popular with the locals, it really gives off a homey vibe. We felt like we were at a frinds house the entire week we were there, we even let one of the hotels dogs stay in our room one night! No worries, just sheer relaxation. Like Mr. Marley sang " Soulful town, soulful people. Said I seen your having fun..." That we did!
The Real Jamaica

We had the best time! As soon as we stepped onto their property, we were transported into an island paradise. Imagine waking up, siting in a bed with a fine cup of Blue Mountain coffee, watching the roaring surf crash into the cactus studded coastline. Step out onto your own thatch covered porch; the sea breeze is filled with the fragrance of flowering plants. A humming bird is busy, but he is the only one even thinking about work. Savor the sunset from your hammock or with other smiling couples who are enjoying a fine rum drink from their easy chairs by the pool. Dine on fresh lobster, fish or many other local delights. It takes about a day to unwind into this world of pure relaxation.
