I stayed at the Negril Tree House during April 2003.I had a room with ocean view as promised. The breakfast were delicious, the grounds quaint, and the ambience perfect. The maids was the sweetest person I have ever met.The bar was right in the water!Negril is fabulous under any circumstances, but I paid a 2 star price for a 5 star vacation!

I highly recommend the Tree House. I stayed in a very spacious suite. The location is great; the white, sandy beach was steps away from my room. The staff was helpful and kind!
 negril tree house cottages

When I first saw the resort I felt a little dissapointed. I had seen Sandals Resort, Swept Away and Beaches first. These were quite grand. When we arrived at the cottages it seemed like a summer camp! The lobby is by a parking lot! By the next day I had changed my mind . I liked the relaxed atmosphere, the outdoor breakfast, the room was spacious and clean. It is located in the middle of 7 mile beach so it is convient. I would recommend it to travelers who want a laid back type of resort. No need to dress up or pretend. You can wear tour bathing suit and shorts the entire stay! Travelers from other resorts come by just to hang out. That's a testment unto itself. The only suggestion is that the water sports should be included. The sunset cruise is SPECTUCALAR.
